Meet the Anna Beck Team - Rachel Hosmer

Anna Beck COO and partner, Rachel Hosmer, is not only my sister but is the ‘ying’ to my ‘yang’.  Rachel manages Anna Beck operations from our offices in Los Angeles.  I love her for so many reasons, especially for her ability to create such an amazing balanced and harmonized work environment. Rachel has so many outstanding qualities, and most would describe her as kind, loving, and generous to the core.   I admire that she is not only business-minded but is also highly creative.  She appreciates beautiful things, people, and environments and it shows in all areas of her life. She's also one of the most driven and focused people I know.  It's not unusual that she will have biked 100 miles or ran a 10k before being the first to arrive in the office! It is a gift for all of us at AB to work with her!

WHO IS Rachel Hosmer?
“ I’ve been the COO of Anna Beck Designs since 2006 after about 8 years working in Education for the Co-Founder of KIPP (Knowledge is Power Program). When my sister, Owner and Designer, Becky, asked me to help her with her business I was thrilled. It was the best move of my life. I absolutely love Anna Beck and leading the team in Los Angeles. When I’m not at work you will most likely find me biking, running. or swimming. I’m so excited for this year’s triathlon season.” 

Favorite AB pieces?
“I love the 71S Bali Signature Dish Earrings because they are simple and pretty. I have also fallen in love with the new long neck turtle pendant--04NSBT. It’s so sweet and reminds me that we have to slow down to get better.”

Meet the Anna Beck Team - Michelle Mellinger

WHY WE LOVE MICHELLE:

Michelle joined the Anna Beck Team in fall 2011 after graduating from ASU with a degree in marketing. Go Sun Devils! Michelle manages the front lines of our customer service department and also helps us manage all of our social media messaging.  Her sweet personality and easy going nature makes her a pleasure to work with.  Say hello to her the next time you call us! We are lucky to have her as part of the team!

WHO IS Michelle Mellinger?
"I am a recent graduate from Arizona State University where I majored in marketing and business sustainability. Since I’m new to the Los Angeles area, I love exploring the shops, restaurants, and nightlife that the city offers. I try to make the most out of what I’ve got, and have fun and laugh all along the way!

Working at Anna Beck has been an extremely fun and gratifying learning experience.  I am so excited to see what's to come with the company in the future!"

Meet Anna Beck's Photographer - Sybil Steele

This week Anna Beck’s photographer, Sybil Steele, was featured in Shop Til You Drop,  an Australian fashion magazine. 

Sybil is a stylist-turned-photographer who we have been lucky enough to work with for the past few years. Currently, she is with Becky shooting the new 2012 Anna Beck Campaign and producing an Anna Beck sponsored short film on Robin Lim, founder of Bumi Sehat.

2012 New York Accessorie Circuit

In early January, a few of us from Anna Beck made our way to the New York Accessorie Circuit. Trade shows give us an opportunity to preview our new collections for upcoming seasons. We also love getting to connect with store owners and buyers from all over the country, old and new.  I was so happy to see that all three collections were a hit.  Here's a glimpse of the show!

Color seemed to be the big trend, making the new Gili Green Chrysoprase very popular.

The subtle and unique design of the Flores Turkish Chalcedony line appealed to those looking for something soft and feminine.

The Bali Animal Collection also drew people in, as each person can relate and connect to the traits the animals represent.
