Supply Chain Challenges

This last year has been a huge challenge for all of us. The health and safety of our families, friends and coworkers have taken a priority to business operations. At Anna Beck, we've had to be flexible in order to keep our business healthy. Luckily, this flexibility has proven to make us stronger. 

As you're all probably aware, supply chains have been extremely stressed since the outbreak of COVID-19. Our workshop in Bali has been operating at 1/4 capacity in order to adhere to new safety codes. There has been a huge outbreak of COVID-19 in India, where the majority of our stones are sourced. Our stone supplier has had to shut down their office several times throughout the last year (as recently as a week ago). They cannot keep up with our Turquoise and Lapis demand, resulting in delayed production and unknown completion dates. In addition to supply chain complications, the Los Angeles International Airport Cargo-Operations Center is currently understaffed. This has caused our inventory shipments arriving from Bali to be held at the customs port up to 14 days before packages can be cleared and delivered to our Los Angeles HQ.

All of these situations are beyond our control. What we can control, we will always strive to do better. Our team is working relentlessly to get new products in stock for you (like our very popular Turquoise collection!) and we can't thank you enough for your patience during these unprecedented times. Your orders support a small business with a mission to preserve the ancient craftsmanship of Balinese jewelry making. We believe not only in our products, but the power of connection that they bring, and we couldn’t do it without you!
